Which excursion highlights are there in the region?

Not only the Dachstein Glacier with its suspension bridge, stairs to nowhere, Ice Palace and Sky Walk is worth a trip. On the Planai, for example, the Hopsiland inspires whole families with climbing elements, swings, slides, a marble run and its own water world. For all those looking for adventure, the Stoderzinken with zipline and adventure park provides exciting moments. The Rittisberg offers countless possibilities for young and old: Coaster, flyline and of course the swimming lake are just a few of them. If you like to glow down the mountain at high speed, the mountain go-kart on the Hochwurzen is the right place for you.
For those who love the natural idyll, the Gassel lakes - especially the Spiegelsee - on the Reiteralm are perfect and the reflection of the impressive Dachstein massif always inspires hikers. Disc golf and the E-Trial course provide variety on the Hauser Kaibling, as well as wonderful hikes such as the Schafsinn-Rundweg. On the Riesneralm there is a summit pool from back then, and on the Planneralm, everyday life is left behind, and not just when it comes to archery. Of course, animal experiences should not be missing: Most of the time, marmots are very shy, but those who want to get very close to the small, furry animals should definitely visit the Galsterberg.

Which mountain railways are open in summer and are they free with the summer card?

Dachstein: The Dachstein is free for stays of 2 nights or more with the Summercard. We recommend that you reserve your ascent and descent in good time at.
Reiteralm: With the Summercard you get one ascent and descent per day free of charge. Mountain railway and bike prices can be found directly on the Reiteralm Bergbahnen website.
Hochwurzen: Summervard holders have included a free ascent and descent per day. There is an extra charge of € 6,- for the transport of mountain bikes with the Summercard.
Planai: Summercard holders have included a free ascent and descent per day. There is an extra charge of € 6,- for the transport of mountain bikes with the Summercard.

What is the Summercard?

With over 100 free holiday experiences and over 100 bonus services, the Schladming-Dachstein Summercard is one of the largest inclusive cards in the alpine region. If you stay as a holiday guest between May 20th and November 1st, 2022 in one of our accommodations, you will receive the Summercard for your holiday enjoyment from just one night - without paying a cent extra. The Summercard is valid from 01:00 pm on the day of arrival and all day during your stay (including the day of departure). Please note the opening times of the attractions.
With the Schladming-Dachstein Summercard you can enjoy a daily ascent and descent with a mountain railway of your choice, all other leisure facilities can be used as often as you like. Of course, our younger guests also receive their own Kids Summercard. The card offers an unbeatable holiday offer especially for families. Over 40 holiday activities are included especially for children and families.

Which bike routes are there in the Schladming-Dachstein region?

Regardless of whether you are a leisure cyclist, mountain biker or downhiller - in the Schladming-Dachstein bike region, bikers and trail lovers of all ages and experience levels get their money's worth. The two well-known ski mountains Planai and Reiteralm offer a wide range of options for trail fans in summer. From beginners to experienced downhillers - a diverse range is waiting for you.

Junior Trails on the Reiteralm: Young mountain bike fans are prepared for the rest of the Reiteralm trails in a playful way. A conveyor belt takes you to the start comfortably and nothing stands in the way of many repetitions. The park is located directly in front of the restaurant Reiteralmhütte, near the Preunegg Jet mountain station and offers rental of balance bikes, junior bikes and bobby cars as well as the necessary protective equipment. Advanced skiers and adults can whiz down into the valley on the new 15 kilometers of single trails (two easy and two moderately difficult trails).

Are there via ferratas in Schladming-Dachstein?

26 via ferratas and tours, including a children's via ferrata and three youth via ferratas as well as Kali's via ferrata garden, offer exciting opportunities for advancement. And for everyone who wants to venture out onto the rock for the first time, there are experienced mountain guides with regular via ferrata courses.
Via ferrata is a demanding sport in the midst of beautiful, rugged nature. Therefore, please inform yourself at the reception regarding the level of difficulty and current weather.

Where are the most beautiful beginners' and children's via ferratas?

There are several children's climbing routes in the Schladming-Dachstein region. On the Sattelberg in Ramsau am Dachstein you will find several children's and youth via ferratas (Kala, Kalo, Kali and Heidi). There is also a via ferrata garden with different levels of difficulty for beginners at the Stoderzinken in Gröbming. For more information, please inform yourself at the reception.

Is there a mini golf course?

You can find games and action at mini golf in Gröbming or Schladming as well as in the Pit-Pat facility in Haus im Ennstal.
Mini golf course Schladming: Whether alone, with family or friends, 15 lanes guarantee fun and excitement at the Schladming mini golf course. Only open in the summer months!
Minigolf Gröbming: In the middle of the spa park, surrounded by a colorful backdrop of flowers and plants, is the challenging mini golf course. Wonderfully located, with a view of the surrounding mountains, an obstacle course with 11 lanes invites you to play. Mini golf requires skill, keeps you fit and is fun for both players and spectators of all ages.
Pit-Pat facility in Haus im Ennstal: Pit-Pat is a mixture of mini golf and billiards. The equipment consists of 4 balls and a cue. The game is played on 18 tables with various obstacles. The aim is to get the ball into the hole with as few hits as possible (max. 6 hits). The balls are divided into 4 different colors: green, blue, red, yellow. The color of the table legs corresponds to the color of the ball to be played.

From the largest rope gliding facility in the Alps, the Stoderzinken Zipline, on which you rush down into the valley at a top speed of up to 115 kilometers per hour, to activities such as rafting, canyoning or paragliding to rapid descents with a summer sledge or a mountain go-kart - in ours Region, the next adrenaline rush is never far.
